A new commitment to osseointegration from Art Clinic and Integrum

Art Clinic has signed an agreement with Integrum AB for the OPRATM Implant System for the treatment of skeletal anchored prostheses.

Center of Excellence

Integrum AB develops innovative systems for bone anchored prostheses. They have been active in the field for 30 years and their system, the OPRATM Implant System, is used by renowned hospitals, university clinics, and specialists globally. With the new collaboration, Art Clinic and Integrum will build a so-called Center of Excellence, where they will carry out treatment with skeletal anchored prostheses. Within the framework of the centre, they will also conduct education and research in the field, intended to benefit clinics worldwide.

"We are very pleased to announce that Art Clinic is now creating a Center of Excellence for our OPRATM Implant System. We look forward to a partnership that will benefit both us and them for many years to come." Maria Lopez, CEO of Integrum AB, said.

A new base in Europe

This will be an exclusive Center of Excellence between the two parties covering the entire Nordic market. Professor Rickard Brånemark, who developed Integrum's implant system, is working with San Francisco as his main base. He will use the Art Clinic as his clinical base for Europe.

"It is very positive to be able to create a clinical platform at Art Clinic, which is a very professional group with the highest standards in terms of quality control and operating theatres." says Professor Rickard Brånemark, Chief Medical Officer and Chairman of the Board of Integrum AB.

Quality and patient safety

Together with Integrum, they will now develop procedures and processes to ensure quality and patient safety - before the centre starts receiving patients.

"This is a very exciting development of our orthopaedic business within the Group and will involve collaboration between two of our specialist areas. Namely orthopaedics and plastic surgery." Ronnie Pettersson, CEO of Art Clinic, said.
