Vadsbolås AB ("Vadsbolås") was founded in 1972 by Bo Richardson, and in 1984 the business was expanded with Vadsbolarm & Säkerhetstjänst AB ("Vadsbolarm"), which specializes in electronic security. The companies are market leaders in Skaraborg with strong brands and a complete range of security technology offerings. The companies have an impressive history and have grown to around SEK 80 million in annual revenue and, with their highly competent employees, are present in seven locations - Mariestad, Skövde, Lidköping, Skara, Falköping, Tidaholm, and Herrljunga.

As part of the acquisition, Bo Richardson will step down from his commitment to Vadsbolås and Vadsbolarm in order to focus on other engagements. Daniel Johansson, former CEO and co-owner of Vadsbolarm, will remain in the business to drive Vadsbolarm forward.
The new establishments will be operated as a separate region within Great Security. As part of the acquisition, Kenneth Holmberg, currently regional manager for Great Security's Northern region, will take up the position of regional manager for the newly formed region.
