statement

On December 7, 2022, MVI will be able to announce a new group of companies in the sales and aftermarket of electric motors and related products. Together under the Nordic Drives Group, the group forms a strategic partnership focused on assisting the Nordic process industry and OEM manufacturers with solutions in energy efficiency, reduced energy consumption and increased reliability for electric motors and related products. Together with the contractors and the group's employees, we look forward to creating a reliable and proactive partner.

Since the end of 2021, MVI Fund II is in partnership with the companies Krylbo Elektra AB, Falun Borlänge AB, Jo-Wic Elteknik AB, Elektromekanisk Industriservice AB, Bröderna Eriksson Maskinel i Söderhamn AB and Elektrolindningar T Holm AB, a leading Swedish group in sales and after-sales service of electric motors and frequency converters.

On 1 December 2022, the acquisition of Fabrika A/S, a leading Danish supplier of customised electric motors under its own brand, focusing on the OEM segment, was completed. Together with its customers, Fabrika develops and customises optimised electric motor solutions for its customers' end products. With Fabrika joining the Group, Nordic Drives Group broadens its presence in the value chain and can expand its offering to all of the Group's customers. On an annual basis, the group is expected to reach a turnover of SEK 300m with approximately 93 employees across several offices in Sweden and Denmark.

Energy efficiency is a critical focus area for ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply. Increased industrial focus on energy efficiency and reliability combined with a larger installed base of electric motors creates a local need for aftermarket service and product sales. Nordic Drives Group is well positioned to take advantage of underlying market trends for future growth through strong collaboration, shared expertise and exceptional delivery across large parts of the value chain.

MVI looks forward to continuing to support the group management and to grow together with the Nordic Drives Group. All owners will remain in the group operationally and have invested together with MVI.

Krylbo Elektra was founded in 1932 as a mechanical workshop and in 1985 the current business was established with a focus on electric motors and frequency converters.
