MVI sells Lakers Holding AB to Summa Equity
MVI has divested Lakers Holding AB ("Lakers") to Summa Equity. The transaction is expected to close in October after competition clearance in Norway.
Lakers was founded by MVI in cooperation with Carl Hall (later a member of the company's Board of Directors) and Carl-Johan Callenholm (later the company's CEO). The company initially acquired 3 businesses in Sweden and Norway. This was followed by a further 7 acquisitions in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The company has enjoyed good growth both organically and through acquisitions and has gone from 60 to 280 million in turnover. "MVI's vision is to create the next generation of stable mid-sized growth companies in the Nordic region. I feel that Lakers has lived up to all these criteria. It is with a warm hand that we now hand over Lakers to the next owner to continue the growth journey" - Stefan Karlsson (Partner MVI)
