With a confirmed accreditation, Art Clinic now announces that it opened a clinic at Sophiahemmet Hospital in February and thus became part of Sophiahemmet's high quality care offer.
For more than 20 years, Art Clinic has been providing healthcare services in Gothenburg, Jönköping and Uppsala. This spring, Art Clinic has established operations in Stockholm, opening its fourth specialist clinic. Art Clinic provides specialist care in back surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery and injection treatments. Art Clinic has now undergone Sophiahemmet's rigorous accreditation process to perform plastic surgery and injection treatments at the venerable hospital, which is located in central Stockholm.
Sophiahemmet is Sweden's oldest private hospital and was founded in 1889 by Queen Sophia with the vision of offering good care for all, in step with the times. The foundation was laid by the nursing training that the Queen had started five years earlier, with Florence Nightingale as her inspiration, and which is still run at Sophiahemmet University. Education and research are thus naturally integrated into Sophiahemmet's hospital activities.
Sophiahemmet's CEO, Peter Seger:
"Art Clinic meets all our high standards here at Sophiahemmet. We also saw that Art Clinic complements our offering, with a clearly development-driven centre for plastic surgery."
Art Clinic has been providing consultations at Sophiahemmet for a long time, but has now expanded its activities with its own clinic where it performs plastic surgery and injection treatments.
Ronnie Pettersson, CEO and founder of Art Clinic:
"The accreditation is proof of the high quality of our activities. I am proud that we have been accredited and that Sophiahemmet Hospital is the place in Stockholm where we are establishing ourselves. It was our first choice and it allows us to offer patients the best possible care in our specialist field."
