Experienced equestrian new CEO of SMP Parts.
Hans Hanses takes over the CEO's chair of SMP Parts on 1 July, a job that presents major challenges. The growing company is in a very expansive phase with high hopes for continued growth in both Scandinavia and parts of the rest of Europe.
A couple of years ago, SMP Parts in Ilsbo got new owners with strong finances, long experience in business and a strong drive to develop the company. With a strengthened economy behind them, a journey began that has seen the company grow considerably over the past few years, including by investing much more heavily outside Scandinavia. Last year, the company also set itself the tough target of doubling its turnover by 2020.
The person who will now lead the company into the next phase, starting at the end of the year, is Hans Hanses from Östersund, an experienced business manager who began his career as a self-employed entrepreneur back home in Jämtland. Over the past twenty years he has held various management positions, where he has been part of the management team and has had both profit and personnel responsibility.
He most recently served as Managing Director of Zepro, which manufactures and sells rear lifts for trucks and trailers. Previous assignments include CEO jobs at Engcon Nordic and Mähler & Söner.
Hans Hanses is basically a mechanical engineer, but has built on his experience by studying organisation, leadership and economics, among other things.
- With Hans at the helm, we will have a knowledgeable and experienced leader who has successfully run several manufacturing companies for many years. We believe that Hans has both the skills and the drive to take SMP Parts to the next level," says the company's current CEO Lars-Göran Stenberg.
SMP Parts joins experienced Hans Hanses as CEO of the company, starting at mid-year.
